Cool Canyon Nights | Free Summer Music Concerts in El Paso Texas

What are Cool Canyon Nights in El Paso? They are a free summer concert series at McKelligon Canyon Amphitheater in the Franklin Mountains, with live music every week through the season.

McKelligon Canyon sits on the southeastern side of the Franklin Mountains and is already popular for rock climbing, hiking, running, and biking. During summer the amphitheater hosts a free concert each week (one featured night was Sangre Gitana). The shows are free, though there is an option to pay around $20 for a guaranteed spot that includes some food and drinks. The amphitheater seats over 1,500 people with accessible seating, restrooms, and plenty of parking, and outside you will find food plus local vendors selling honey, mugs, and clothing. The energy is electric, with people dancing and singing all night.

Cool Canyon Nights | Free Summer Music Concerts in El Paso Texas

Hello everybody and welcome back to Living in El Paso, Texas. My name is Alejandro Sosa, I'm a real estate agent here in Peñalpaso Realty Group and today we are here in the heart of the Franklin Mountains. We're here in a place called McKelligan Canyon Amphitheater.

Now during summer they have a free series of concerts and this week they got a concert called Sangre Gitana. Let's go and check it out. McKelligan Canyon is going to be located on the southeastern side of the Franklin Mountains.

It is a very popular destination known for its rock climbing, hiking, running, walking and biking. We actually did a video not too long ago about John having a race right on this canyon. During summer the amphitheater is going to have a series of free concerts every week.

This week is Sangre Gitana. These concerts are going to be free of charge but there is an option to pay a $20 ticket that guarantees you a spot and I think it includes some drinks and food as well. The amphitheater seats over 1,500 people and features accessible seating, restrooms and

plenty of parking. Outside of the amphitheater you're going to have plenty of options when it comes down to food and there are also some local vendors selling their goods. Things like local honey, customizable mugs and clothing items.

As soon as we got there one thing that we noticed is the amount of people but mainly the energy that you could feel as soon as you walk into that area. People were dancing, people were singing. It was just overall a great time.

and we had a lot of fun. We are curious to know if you have attended one of these concerts. Please let us know down in the comments what was your experience. Thank you very much for checking out the episode and we'll see you in the next video.
