Living in El Paso
What is the War Eagles Air Museum near El Paso? It is an aviation history museum in Santa Teresa, New Mexico, just minutes from El Paso, with about 35 aircraft and 55 vintage automobiles under one hangar.
We tour this hidden gem at the Dona Ana County International Jetport in Santa Teresa. The collection spans roughly a century, with WWII, Korea, and Vietnam-era warbirds along "Warbird Alley," including an F4U Corsair, a P-38 Lightning, a P-40 Warhawk, a Huey helicopter, and a DC-3 that dropped paratroopers in WWII and that you can walk through. The car collection runs from Model T's and an Auburn Speedster to a Rolls Royce and a recently donated 1926 Cadillac. The hangar hosts events, car shows, and first-time discovery flights, and offers military and senior rates. It is ADA accessible.
