I got your back if you're moving to El Paso okay, so this video is going to be a little bit different because I have been actually working with a ton of people who are Moving from I've got places all over the place, Washington, Connecticut, Oklahoma
Arizona, California, Florida So a lot of people are realizing what El Paso has to offer which is the whole point of this channel quite honestly So today what I've got for you though is a couple of locations a couple of options because a lot of people who haven't been Here or who haven't been here in a while. They don't really know what the different areas are like
They want to know what the houses look like really so in this video I'm going to show you four different locations spread out through El Paso all the way from the Far East to closer to central or downtown an Area that we call that's a little bit west called the Upper Valley and then a little bit
Northwest this area called Cimarron Canyon So for this one rather than just blab on while all of the houses and the streets are going by I'm just going to play a little bit of music for you guys I'm going to talk about the area at the beginning and I hope you enjoy. Thanks so much for watching
Okay, we're going to start with an area on the Far East and this area is called Ventanas It's a really big it's a huge area code So don't get too caught up on that area code there But the approximate price range in this particular neighborhood is about a hundred and fifty thousand to three hundred thousand more or less
These are approximations 2020 most of the homes are three to four bedrooms and this is newer construction homes that were built More or less in the last twelve years or so This area it kind of looks maybe kind of a little bit far out on the map
But this is exactly 20 miles from where Ventanas that little Drop pin is to downtown 20 miles takes about 25 minutes. I just looked it up on Google Maps today so that should be pretty accurate for you and You can see here loop 375 runs north-south and loop 375 actually goes all the way around
All of El Paso it goes through the mountain pass through the Franklin Mountains Encompasses the west side downtown the east side. So 375 goes north-south and then there's a street Saragossa that runs kind of diagonally there. There's shopping off of there Everything from Best Buy to Target
There's a Sprouts grocery store over there and I put another little marker that shows you on a closer up little Area where there's a really nice new retail Shopping restaurants area that's been developed right in there as you can see There's some really nice parks there. And with all of that said let's go ahead and check out what it looks like
So you would travel west probably I 10 and towards downtown and this is going to get you into a central location I haven't talked too much about kind of central El Paso because mostly central El Paso is really quite honestly downtown El Paso But there are some really super awesome areas and while these are, you know, literally Westside to me they still kind of feel central. So this is a really awesome neighborhood
I've loved this neighborhood since I moved here. It's called Kern or Kern Place. This is a very established neighborhood near downtown It's also Near the University of Texas El Paso. So there's a lot of energy tons of coffee shops restaurants It's right on Mesa Street. If you've watched the video about the west side. I talk a lot about Mesa Street
I even show the sign for Kern so Kern is awesome. It has a pretty unique Price range so you can see there I went on and I looked for all the homes that were say up for sale recently
The lowest priced home was about one hundred and twenty thousand dollars Now typically those are smaller homes that have been around for a long time That are probably going to need probably those are going to probably be a little fixer-uppers and they might be on the smaller side But the homes here get super nice all the way up to eight hundred thousand dollars. It's a really nice area
the homes are All the way early 1900s. Like I said, this is a pretty established area all the way to modern home construction, which you'll see some people have bought and I assume they've torn torn down the old house and built what looks like to be a More kind of a modern aesthetic. So without further ado. Here is Kern
Okay And now moving further west and now now we're going to be on actually the west side of I-10 now this area gets close to the New Mexico border and It's also the the lowest elevation because you can see the Rio Grande run through there
So it's at a lower elevation than these other places we've looked at this area is super cool Upper Valley You'll have a hard time believing that this is El Paso because if you associate El Paso with the desert Then this is going to blow your mind. I'm telling you This is it's a whole nother world down there what you're about to see. So the Upper Valley again
Price range. This is approximate. I'd say about two hundred thousand and up I'm going to show you a crazy. I shouldn't say it's crazy. It's pretty awesome a million-dollar home here in a second But these are homes again from the early 1900s all the way up to new construction These homes what sets them apart is obviously the landscaping. There's grass. There's trees
You're gonna actually need a lawnmower if you live in the Upper Valley believe it or not most of us do not have a lawnmower, but the awesome thing about this area and there's other areas as well is Most of these homes have water rights And so you're gonna see these canals that are running through the neighborhoods
You're allowed the people who own these homes are allowed to take as much water as they want certain times Per month they can use that a lot of people flood their land As a means of basically what you and I would consider watering our yard But it's more like flooding your yard kind of thing, but there's horse farms down here
There's a golf course, which I'm gonna show. It's very lush very green like I said It's gonna blow your mind and just for fun I was looking out on the MLS trying to get an idea of what the price ranges are for you like I said 200,000 on the low end all the way up to this home right here, which is listed for just over 1 million
I believe this home was built in 1934 this is pretty crazy looking so if you're looking for a million dollar fixer-upper This is you right here, and here's the rest of the Upper Valley, too Okay
And here's our last little area if you guys are finding value here Please consider clicking that like button if you have any questions or comments leave them down below if you have any ideas For what videos to shoot next one individual asked if I would talk a little bit about the airport and how air service works In here, which I'm definitely going to do for them
So if you're liking the content by all means please consider hitting that like button And this is our last area on the west side. This is kind of a northwest side this I love this area too. I know I say that about all of them, but it's true So this one's is pretty close to me. This is about 10-15 minutes away from me, so
This is pretty much all new home construction approximate price range I'd say 200,000 up to 600,000 and You're gonna see this is still being constructed as we speak
Where it says shopping there, that's a brand new Walmart actually my wife And I we go to this Walmart even though there's one closer to us we go to this one because it's just it's so nice It's like brand-new. It's spacious. It's clean. It's really beautiful It's funny thing to say about a Walmart, but there's also other really much more high-end shops. There's a Cabela's
There's all sorts of very kind of what we consider kind of the new mall aesthetic So really gorgeous where I wrote new retail and restaurants. This is more kind of your boutique like there's a craft breweries over here I Featured this in the Westside video actually if you're interested all sorts of great things that Trek bike shop is down here
So this area is really nice You're gonna see that these homes are really more on the modern style most of them some of them are still in a more traditional Maybe even leaning kind of Spanish style, but pretty great area Cimarron Canyons here we go
Okay Okay So that wraps it up by all means that was not an exhaustive Search or look at the different neighborhoods and areas that we have that are fantastic
I'll show more as the channel progresses, but this I just I hope it gives people kind of an idea of What the areas look like where they're at how the different elevations come into play you can see it current I love current because it kind of sits on some elevation So it has a really cool like look over the city and into Juarez. It's like I said the Upper Valley
Doesn't have the elevation, but it's got all the lush landscaping and vegetation The river so there's a lot of diversity here in El Paso Plenty of neighborhoods for you to check out that area on the east side Ventana's that area is I'd say a pretty good representation of the far east of the east side
Communities for the most more or less I don't want to say that they all look the same or they are all are the same because that's not the case But the east side the far east is our biggest area And I think the Ventana's area at neighborhood gives you kind of a good idea of what that area is like
But we've still got the northeast. There's some other really Beautiful hidden gems kind of in central El Paso that we're going to showcase so I hope you found that valuable And we'll see you next time
